ASD Wins Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) Infrastructure Services Contract With CACI International Inc.

Advanced Software Design Inc. (ASD) has been awarded Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) Infrastructure Services contract with CACI International Inc. to support Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) requirement for infrastructure, application and database administration for the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) program.

Under the contract, ASD will provide Oracle application and database support to the DAI system. The support services focused on providing stability, high availability, and maintainability of the DAI application using EBS core software components and the Oracle 11g database.

The Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) is a Department of Defense (DoD) enterprise initiative that will modernize and transform the financial management capabilities of the Defense Agencies and Field Activities across the DoD. The Defense Agencies need to replace their existing financial management and accounting systems to comply with statutory and regulatory requirements. As a result, the Defense Agencies need an integrated financial management system to achieve auditability through reliable and accurate financial data.
