ASD’s in-depth experience with Custom/COTS implementations (Total Lifecycle System Engineering encompasses the following: business process analysis, mapping to information technologies, architecture, blueprint design, software selection, proof-of-concept design, pilot scenario development, adapter and user interface construction, workflow design, COTS configuration and adoption, system implementation, training and change management and finally systems sustainment including maintenance and support).
ASD has provided day-to-day operational services to the FDIC in support of infrastructure, facilities, hardware, software, and systems, since 2017. Our experience encompasses supporting a large cooperate windows infrastructure which includes VMware, IIS, SQL and other enterprise applications in a fast-paced environment; administering and optimizing VMware environments to maximize uptime, system configuration, and accounting of system data; performing system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting, system hardware, installation, firmware patching, and VMware software patching; perform daily systems administration, monitoring, and system maintenance on Linux/UNIX OS.
With an internationally diverse team, ASD supports the US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems extended (US BICES X) program with systems administration and engineering, network design and maintenance, NOC support, CND support, including program and task management.
ASD via the BITI Wired and Wireless programs provides the core Air Force network infrastructure for 178 fixed Air Force installations and Geographically Separated Units. These programs provide a robust and secure wired and wireless infrastructure that incorporates high-availability and multi-tiered network connections at facilities requiring remote access such as flight lines, hangars, medical facilities, and large storage areas.
ASD on the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Service Desk Contract supports Tier II level IT end user issues by troubleshooting, providing root cause analysis, and resolving Windows based IT issues in support of our customer. ASD maintains end user system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, and networks; maintains procedural and process documentation.
ASD supports the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Service Integration and Delivery (SID) contract which entails sustainment of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) ERP and non-ERP applications used by a worldwide customer base. ASD offers a distributed team of technical consultants providing Service Integration and Delivery (SID) support for mission critical DLA business applications and infrastructure in DISA-hosted Dev, Test, Production, and COOP environments.
On the SITE III contract ASD provides remote and on-site Support to existing DIA IT services, implement new IT services, and transition IT services reducing on-site Support and implementing standardized processes. We provide support for a wide variety of networks, domains, and locations around the world. Our efforts support the transition to Intelligence Community Information Technology Environment (IC ITE), Joint Information Environment (JIE), and other IC efforts while improving mission capabilities, data migration, capacity planning, systems/infrastructure engineering, and support activities for IC ITE and enterprise operations.
ASD provides a multitude of infrastructure modernization and virtualization services to the Army GEF ITS Program. The GEF ITS efforts consists of the Global Enterprise Fabric (GEF), Army Enterprise SharePoint (AES), Garrison Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) Platform (GDP), and Joint Management System-Army (JMS-Army) capabilities. GEF is an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solution providing an enterprise virtualized environment. AES is a viable solution that meets the Army’s needs for a more robust and cost-effective Enterprise collaboration platform. This effort specifically brings Enterprise Management capabilities to support rotational, tactical forces and their equipment on the Mission Command Network (MCN) prior to deployment.
ASD provides broad IT and cybersecurity support to Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), and Chief Information
Officer/G-6 (CIO/G-6) out of Fort Huachuca in Sierra Vista, Arizona. ASD supports NETCOM’s current and future operations, network operations (NETOPS), infrastructure, systems engineering, sustainment and interoperability. This work will include real-time network monitoring, security compliance, incident/problem triage, sensor grid monitoring, release management and capability management.
Under the auspices of the NATO ITM Program, ASD’s support encompasses implementing a fully-modern, private cloud-based infrastructure that will improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of NATO’s IT enterprise. This will be accomplished through a series of IT modernization phases, including: updating obsolete IT infrastructure; implementing NATO-wide continuity and disaster recovery capabilities; clarifying service levels in cloud computing terms; enhancing information security measures; increasing operational agility by enabling the dynamic reallocation of resources.
