ASD to provide Feasibility Study Report for the California Secretary of State (SOS) Cal-ACCESS System

Advanced Software Design Inc. (ASD) has been awarded Feasibility Study Report (FSR) contract for Cal-ACCESS System by the State of California, Secretary of State (SOS).

Under this contract, ASD will update the draft feasibility study report and document the business rules for the current Cal-ACCESS system. ASD will also provide the technical evaluation of draft requirements for potential Cal-ACCESS replacement system.

Cal-ACCESS is a database and filing system the Secretary of State has used to make much of the lobbying and campaign finance information available online at no cost to users. It is a suite of applications developed in multiple different programming languages running on an uncommon and unsupported version of the Unix operating system called Tru-64.
